The Audio & Music Apps group is looking for a senior software engineer. We are an international team with a presence in Rellingen/Germany, Edinburgh and Cupertino. The Rellingen and Edinburgh engineering team works on GarageBand iOS, Logic, GarageBand macOS, and MainStage.

Description
Our team practices fast-paced development that relies heavily on a tight relationship between engineering, QA and product design. This position requires a highly ambitious & creative engineer with strong technical and communication skills. Responsibilities will include working on new features for iOS and/or macOS applications, developing new audio and music related technologies and applications, and supporting the existing features of our apps. Attention to detail and critical thinking skills are required.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong software development skills with Swift/SwiftUI
  • Proven ability to develop and ship high quality software products
  • Strong knowledge of Xcode and related developer tools
  • Experience with SCM Systems (e.g. Git, SVN)
  • Experience implementing UI's on iOS and/or Mac platforms

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related discipline or equivalent professional experience in software development is required
  • Experience building native macOS apps using Swift and AppKit/SwiftUI
  • Experience with SCM Systems (e.g. Git, Jenkins, SVN)
  • Experience implementing UI's on iOS and/or Mac platforms
  • Experience in development of music production software
  • Playing an instrument
