This is a senior individual-contributor design role at a fast-growing AI-powered EdTech platform used by tens of millions of students across the globe. You will sit at the center of the product, working directly with engineering and leadership to shape AI-native learning experiences that set a new bar for quality in consumer education.

This is a senior individual-contributor design role at a fast-growing AI-powered EdTech platform used by tens of millions of students across the globe. You will sit at the center of the product, working directly with engineering and leadership to shape AI-native learning experiences that set a new bar for quality in consumer education.
What You'll Do
- Own entire product areas from conception to delivery, shipping ideas to millions of students within days alongside engineering and leadership.
- Raise the quality bar across every surface students see and interact with, through excellent UI and motion design.
- Build and scale a code-first design system from the ground up, including curated component libraries and quality-review processes.
- Pioneer AI-native design by developing AI-assisted workflows and product experiences that change how the team researches, ideates, and ships.
- Set the visual and interaction standard, making your work the reference point for the broader team.
- Mentor and guide more junior designers, helping raise the collective craft of the team.
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong product-design craft and shipped, metrics-moving consumer work; portfolio matters more than years of experience.
- Several years of product design experience, with a clear ability to guide more junior contributors.
- Meaningful B2C or consumer-product design background, ideally in a fast-moving startup environment.
- A builder mindset: you turn designs into shipped product rather than staying in research or presentation mode.
- Active, enthusiastic use of AI tools as a multiplier across prototyping, research, and shipping.
- Systems thinking at scale: you care about replicable quality across a product, not just a polished Figma file.
- Ability to simplify complex user journeys into experiences that feel obvious and intuitive.
- Comfort giving and receiving direct, ego-free feedback in a collaborative, fast-paced team.
- Bonus: prior experience shipping a side project end to end, or familiarity opening a pull request.
