Our interview process is designed to be simple, personal, and a little bit fun, so we can get to know each other naturally.
It kicks off with a short, relaxed phone chat (about 15–20 minutes) just enough to exchange first impressions and spark curiosity. Next, you’ll hop on a video call via MS Teams with someone from the team, where you can dive deeper, ask questions, and see how we collaborate day-to-day.
The final step is the most exciting: we invite you to our office! Here, you’ll try a small, hands-on case study don’t worry, it’s not a test, just a playful way for us to show how we work and for you to get a real feel of our world.
Finally, we’ll make a decision promptly openly, thoughtfully, and with a smile.

eClear AG is a banking-regulated payment facilitator providing EU-wide customs and VAT clearing as an embedded checkout-solution for e-Commerce marketplaces and digital platforms. With our software products and services, all tax, customs and payment processes in cross-border online trade are automated and significantly simplified.

- Help shaping the architecture and long-term strategy of our AI platform, including the use of LLMs, RAG pipelines, and Agentic AI.
- Design, build and deploy AI solutions that improve product data intelligence, from auto-tagging and attribute extraction to content generation.
- Architect multi-agent systems that orchestrate specialized AI agents across complex, multi-step workflows.
- Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and processing workflows for both structured and unstructured product data.
- Optimize system performance and scalability while maintaining high code quality.
- You hold a Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in building and deploying production-grade AI solutions using Python.
- Strong expertise in traditional machine learning combined with hands-on experience in modern LLM-based solutions.
- Solid knowledge of relational and vector databases, such as PostgreSQL and pgvector.
- Proven experience in setting up and operating open-weight LLMs (e.g., Llama, Mistral), including inference optimization.
- A practical, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to translate complex data challenges into scalable AI solutions.
- Familiarity with AWS, REST APIs, microservices and MLOps practices (monitoring, CI/CD, Docker) is a plus.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, strong communication skills, and comfort working in dynamic environments (German B2 level required).
