Berlin in July hits different — long evenings, everyone outside, the canal packed by 6pm. And in July 2026 it got busier: WeAreDevelopers World Congress (8–10 July 2026) was expected to bring ~15,000 developers, AI builders and tech leaders to CityCube.

The congress venue is out west at Messe Berlin. The food worth crossing town for is mostly in Mitte, Kreuzberg, Neukölln and Prenzlauer Berg. Here's where we'd actually send a friend.
Short on time? Do the Mitte cluster on foot.
